Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data plnk collects, why, and what choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be straight with you about it.

1. What we collect

• Account info: your email and login, handled by our authentication provider.
• Your page: the content you add (name, bio, links, images, products, etc.).
• Analytics: when someone visits your public page, we record a page view or click. We identify visitors with a cookieless, non-reversible fingerprint (a hash of IP + browser). We never store raw IP addresses, and we don’t use tracking cookies. We may record an approximate country and the referring app/site.
• Subscribers: if you use the email-capture widget, the email addresses your visitors submit are stored for you.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: host your page, show you analytics, process payments, prevent abuse, and support you. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Service providers

We rely on a few trusted providers to operate plnk: for authentication, database hosting, file/image storage, payments, and app hosting. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

4. Cookies

We use only what’s necessary to keep you signed in. Public plnk pages use no tracking cookies. Visitor analytics are cookieless.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your page or account, we delete the associated content, subscribers, and analytics (backups may persist for a short period before rotating out).

6. Your rights

You can export your data (account, page, and subscribers) anytime from Settings, and you can delete your page and its data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or erase your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Children

plnk isn’t intended for people under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
